This Wheatsheaf Wet and Dry Stick in a Flat shape is crafted from high grade wood and wrapped with high quality Hermes, 1200 grit wet and dry paper, it is then sealed in waterproof silicon carbide, ideal for filing, shaping and preparation of metal.

Designed to ease the sanding process, this handy wet and dry stick enables you to reach confined areas and contours on your jewellery designs.

This Flat shape is especially useful as it contains a sharp 90 degree points for filing into corners and flat surfaces ideal for smoothing and evening out large flat areas of metal.

A more reliable and long-lasting alternative to traditional emery paper, this durable wet and dry stick will help you quickly achieve consistent results.

These can be used on metal, glass, ceramic, stone, composite and lacquer.

Unlike emery paper these sticks can also be used wet, simply dampen with a cloth or by spraying the stick before use.

The advantage of the paper is it reacts with water and acts as a lubricant and anti-binder agent.

For best results we recommend starting with the coarsest grade (240 Grit) and moving through each grade until you reach the finest.
