Salamander A2 Super Graphite Crucible

Description

Made from high quality bonded clay graphite, the Salamander A2 crucible has been designed for melting larger quantities of precious metal, ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.

Known for consistent performance, the Salamander crucible has excellent characteristics including clean melting, good thermal conductivity, high refractoriness and a good resistance to chemical corrosion.

Smaller quantities can be melted with a torch (up to A1/0), but the larger quantities (A1-A4) need to be melted using a furnace.

Working capacity: 9ct, 2400gms. Silver, 2200gms.

The crucible measures 109mm in height, and 95mm in top diameter tapered to 61mm in bottom diameter.
