The Presidium OTi is a compact, handheld diamond verification instrument designed to quickly and accurately identify colourless diamonds. It effectively distinguishes natural diamonds from CVD/HPHT lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, cubic zirconia, and other diamond simulants. The instrument is suitable for testing both loose and mounted stones, including closed-back settings, making it ideal for use in a wide range of professional environments.

Powered by advanced proprietary technology, the OTi analyses UV light absorbance and uses optical detection based on the reflection and refraction of light to classify gemstones with accuracy and consistency. Its ergonomic handheld design ensures portability and ease of use, while delivering reliable results when operated correctly.

The OTi is designed to test colourless diamonds within the D to J colour range and is compatible with all proportionally cut, polished diamond shapes. It supports a minimum gemstone table width of 1.6mm x 1.6mm, with approximate minimum carat weights of 0.06ct for Round Brilliant, 0.07ct for Princess, 0.10ct for Marquise, and 0.17ct for Baguette cuts.

Results are clearly displayed on a resistive touchscreen colour LCD, providing fast, on- the-go testing for professionals. The display shows one of five results: Diamond, CVD/HPHT/Type IIa (Lab Grown), Moissanite, Cubic Zirconia, or Simulant.

Please Note:This tester is not designed for use with coloured diamonds due to the specific testing methodology employed.

It is recommended to wear UV-protective eyewear and hand protection while performing tests with this device. Please refrain from looking directly at the LED or its lens when the UV light is active.
