Made from a thick skinned leather and filled with a fine, light weight grit (not sand).

These bags may be used for a variety of tasks such as supporting objects while being worked upon or helping to create the bowl shape of a vessel when raising from flat sheet of metal.

The bags should be kept away from sharp objects to avoid puncturing and the resulting loss in grit.
