Flat File 200mm/8″ Smooth Cut

Description

The Flat File 200mm/8″ Smooth Cut is a hand tool used to remove metal and refine surfaces in preparation for further work. It cuts during the forward stroke but does not cut on the return stroke to prevent undoing the smoothing achieved.

Measuring 200mm long (8 inches) with a 19.2mm width, this file features a flat profile with a flattened tip (not tapered), making it ideal for use on flat and convex surfaces.

For best results we recommend starting with the coarsest file and working through the files, finishing with the finest.
