Durston Steel Round Drawplate, 0.5mm – 4.0mm, 41 Hole

Description

This Durston Drawplate is designed to be used in conjunction with a drawbench however can be secured in a vice and it is used for reducing or reshaping wire.

Made from Quality Hardened Steel this plate features 41 round holes and has the ability to reduce wire from 0.5mm to 4.0mm diameter.

Also suitable to be used for reshaping wire and creating tube or chenier from sheet metal. It is important to ensure a sufficient point is created at the end of the wire or sheet so it can be pulled through the hole using drawtongs. After approximately every other draw, the metal should be annealed to regain malleability.

It is advised to keep this product oiled to avoid rusting.
