This Durston heavy duty Hydraulic Press is a powerhouse for your workshop, designed to meet all jewellers needs.

Its efficiency and accuracy means it is an ideal machine for all your punching, pressing, bending and riveting projects.

It is constructed from high quality durable steel, which ensures a long-lasting performance and reliability.

This press has a user-friendly operation. The hand-operated system provides quick, efficient adjustments and is also equipped with a built in safety mechanism to create a secure risk free working environment.

In addition it has also has a slidable perspex saftey guard, that can be moved to your required position.

To use;

• Place a Durston non-conforming die into the container.
• Add your metal piece and a urethane pad.
• Apply the steel pusher (piece of metal provided with kit).
• Place all of the above into the hydraulic press and pump up using the handle to achieve height required to press the metal into the die.
• Once pressure has been applied release valve to open press.

This arrangement ensures that the force is efficiently focused into the metal, yielding sharply defined, high-relief forms.

With four fixing points so it can be secured to a work bench or work surface that can hold 60kg.

This 20 tonne (20,000kg) bottle jack is pumped up using the handle included like a regular jack moving the plate up and is released using the red dial on the front of the machine which brings it back down.

Please note; the platform does not extend to meet the top of the press. Therefore additional props can be used, such as a metal plate to heighten your die or disc cutter.

This new design from durston has the addition of 2 guards for your safety whilst using the press.

A frame fixing screw, that secures the frame to the press, is included.

We advise that safety equipment such as glasses () should be worn.

This product comes with a 3 year warranty.

Please note due to its weight (60KG) the press will be delivered on a palette, it will then need to be fixed to a bench that it suitable to take this weight.

Please note – The press is intentionally designed not to close fully, with an 80mm gap when fully pumped being normal. This design provides a larger overall working area and accommodates the use of bench blocks if needed.
