Description

The Cooksongold Mitre Cutting Jig is a time-saving and highly useful addition to any jeweller’s toolbox.

Operating as a vice as well as helping you to keep perfectly straight edges when filing precious metal material, the Mitre Cutter Jig is a small but useful piece of kit for all jewellers.

Use the flat clamp edge of your mitre block to cut and file straight, accurate edges at a perfect 90° angle or to a bevelled 45° edge. Use the V-grooves of your Mitre Cutting Jig to accurately centre wire or tube, to be cut or filed down to a perfect 90°or 45° edge every time.

The Mitre Cutter Jig can hold up to a maximum of 11mm thick wire and sheet, and cuts tube up to a maximum of 5mm at a 45 degree angle.

The central section of the mitre block opens up to measure 30mm. Whether filing down precious metal sheet, tube or wire, the Mitre Cutter Jig is the ideal tool for accuracy and a professional finish.

Please note – a light weight oil should be used.
