Vallorbe Barrette File, 150mm/6″, Cut 2 – Medium Grade

Made from high carbon steel and suitable for use on all metals, they deliver a superior performance time and again.

This Vallorbe Barrette file measures 150mm in length, 15.5mm in width and a 3.3mm thickness. It also has a safety back which helps to prevent marking the metal you’re working with, only the flat side of the file is used for cutting. Tapering in thickness and width, this file is suitable for use on both flat surfaces and corners.

Although not essential, file handles are available – 999 0549.

This file is a medium cut 2.

The coarser the file the more metal is removed. Files are graded as below;

• Cut 00 – Very coarse
• Cut 0 – Coarse
• Cut 1 – Coarse/Medium
• Cut 2 – Medium
• Cut 3 – Medium/Fine
• Cut 4 – Fine
