Swage Block 12 Groove

Description

This steel swage block has small D-shaped grooves which can be used for forming D-shaped pieces.

The block can be used to form D shape wire. Or use sheet and a doming punch on its side to punch the sheet into the groove, to form a half tube shape.

The width & depth of each groove is:

• Width: 3.0mm xDepth: 0.9mm
• Width: 4.0mm xDepth: 1.5mm
• Width: 5.0mm xDepth: 2.0mm
• Width: 6.0mm xDepth: 2.6mm
• Width: 7.0mm x Depth: 3.2mm

• Width: 12.0mmx Depth: 5.4mm

Groove surfaces should be kept clean and polished – any marks will impress on the surface of the metal.
