Description

This bench block is made from hardened steel and wood to provide a durable and sturdy surface for hammering, stamping, and shaping metal. The wooden base absorbs the impact of hammering, minimising the risk of damage to the work surface and reducing noise and vibration, this also reduces stress on the hands.

The wooden base is ideal when a softer contact area is necessary.

Use with a mallet or hammer to flatten metal, or to act as a hard plate against a piece of metal for texturing or punching.

The surface should be kept clean and polished, as any marks will be transferred to the metal’s surface.
