Description

The Slim Half Round File, 150mm/6″, Cut 4 – Fine Grade is a hand file designed for precise metal refining and surface smoothing. It measures 150mm (6 inches) and is a fine cut (Cut 4), which makes it ideal for delicate finishing work.

This slim half round file measures 12.9mm in width and 4mm in height. The total length of the file including the tang is 195mm.

The file cuts on the forward stroke only, ensuring that the surface is smoothed without undoing any progress on the return stroke. This fine file is perfect for polishing and achieving a smooth, refined surface on jewellery and other metal objects.

For best results we recommend starting with the coarsest file and working through the files, finishing with the finest.
