The Slim Half Round File, 150mm/6″, Cut 2 – Medium Grade is a hand file used to remove metal and refine surfaces for further techniques. Measuring 150mm (6 inches), this medium-grade file (Cut 2) offers a balance between material removal and surface smoothing.

This slim half round file measures 12.9mm in width and 4mm in height. The total length of the file including the tang is 195mm.

It cuts on the forward stroke, but not on the return stroke, ensuring the surface remains smooth. Medium files are perfect for achieving a refined finish without aggressive material removal, making them ideal for precision work.

For best results we recommend starting with the coarsest file and working through the files, finishing with the finest.
