This booklet of Pure Silver Leaf (999) is ideal for adding brilliant silver highlights to decorative surfaces. Each sheet is made from genuine silver, carefully beaten into an ultra-thin, delicate sheet, and supplied pressed onto tissue paper for easy handling and precise application.

Perfect for a variety of gilding techniques, including oil gilding, Architec 40 gilding, poliment gilding, and reverse glass gilding, this silver leaf can also be applied to internal moulded, carved, or embellished areas, as well as exterior surfaces. Its versatility makes it suitable for both detailed craft work and larger decorative projects.

25 sheets are supplied measuring 80mm x 80mm x 0.25 micron

Each booklet contains approximately 0.5g of silver.

To use this product; using scissors cut the tissue and foil to the desired size. The transfer silver leaf is then placed onto the surface which has been prepared with adhesive that is still slightly tacky, then apply light pressure to the leaf. Remove the issue paper backing from the foil and brush then polish as required.

Please note:

• This product is not edible. Not suitable to be touched with bare hands.
• Loose leaf offers precise control for detailed work but is delicate, while transfer leaf is easier and faster to apply on flat or gently curved surfaces.
