This curved, straight sided planishing stake from Durston is ideal for forming or planishing the outside surface of curved jewellery and silversmithing items.

Made from precision ground, hardened tool steel, this curved straight edge planishing stake measures approximately 36mm x 26mm with a height of 12mm.

Use in conjunction with the Durston Stake Holder (997 174A) for a versatile and easily accessible work area while forming and planishing metal.

The stem of this stake measures approximately 16mm in diameter and is 25mm long.

The surface of the stake should be kept clean and polished to avoid any marks which may be transferred onto the surface of your metal.
