Patina Oxidising Solution 1 Litre UN2922

Description

Used to blacken silver, producing an antiqued patina. This concentrated liquid must be diluted before use.

Add 25ml to 1 litre of water and heat to 60-70°C. Immerse the piece for 5-20 seconds, depending on the desired patina.

Suitable for use on silver and copper.

Please note:

• Always use in a well-ventilated area or fume cupboard. Before applying this product, ensure the metal is free from grease, polishing residues, and oxides, as these may affect the oxidation process.
• When storing this product, keep it in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. If the solution is not stored correctly, it may lose its effectiveness.
• This product is categorised as Hazardous Goods therefore it may be a diluted solution of pure chemical, a mixture of substances, manufactured products or articles which can pose a low element of risk to people, animals or the environment if not properly handled in use or in transport. Therefore narrowing down the choice of delivery methods.
