Description

Triblets, or ring mandrels are essential and versatile tools for jewellery making.

This plain, oval profile triblet has a working length of 170mm (6.75″), with a total length of 240mm (9.5″) including handle.

This triblet measures 4mm x 6mm at the thinnest point of the blade, and measures 15mm x 20mm at the widest point.

Used for forming or reshaping metal, oval triblets can be used to form an oval jewellery element or bezel to a chosen approximate size, to re-size an existing oval, or to correct the shape of a misshapen oval.

This unmarked, solid triblet is made from steel, and should be kept clean and polished to avoid any marks which may be transferred onto the surface of your metal.

It can be held or secured by the handle into a bench vice. Securing at any other point will mark or damage the surface of the triblet and transfer onto the surface of your metal.
