This Fretz Maker Large Embossing Hammer features two ball shaped ends of different sizes, one features a 13.5mm face whilst the other is 15.5mm, these help to vary texture when used with differing force.

This hammer is ideal for creating custom bezels, doming and stretching metal to create small vessel forms. It can create dramatic texturing on flat or curved metal and is also used to emboss or sink shapes into a cavity or using a sand bag.

It can work pieces from the back or inside to create three-dimensional forms, a technique called Repoussé.

Delivering precision, whilst being built for toughness and durability, this hammer is a scaled down version of the Fretz Jewellers Large Embossing Hammer (), is it a much lighter tool perfect for use with lighter metal gauges.

The head is made from 420 grade stainless steel and features highly polished faces secured to a handle beautifully crafted from North American ash, oil finished and shaped to give you a light touch.
