Foredom Variable Speed Polishing Machine

Description

The Foredom Polishing Motor features a high torque, permanent magnet motor which is whisper quiet and ensures smoothing running.

The 1/6 HP motor offers variable speeds between 500-7,000RPM and includes two true running, tapered spindles with double locking screws.

The spindles are suitable to use with a variety of mops up to 4″ (101mm) diameter including cotton, felt and chamois with shellac-hardened leather, lead or wooden centres. 3″ (76mm) or smaller wheels with arbor holes up to 7/16″ (11mm) in diameter can also be used.

The cast iron base has mounting holes as well as suction caps to keep the lathe stable and secure on the work surface.

This polishing motor is not recommended for more than 2-4 hours of continuous use.
