The Flat File, 150mm/6″, Cut 0 – Coarse Grade is an essential tool for metalworking, designed to remove material efficiently and refine surfaces in preparation for further processing. Measuring 150mm (6 inches) in length, this coarse Cut 0 file is ideal for quickly shaping and smoothing metal.

It functions by cutting as it is pushed forward across the surface, but it does not cut on the return stroke to maintain a consistent finish.

The coarse grade allows for faster material removal, making it particularly useful for initial shaping or heavy-duty filing tasks.

For best results we recommend starting with the coarsest file and working through the files, finishing with the finest.
