This high quality Steel Bench Block from Durston provides an essential surface on which to hammer or planish.

This general tool has been made from grounded tool steel that has been polished and then case hardened to provide excellent finish perfect for flattening, laying out or chasing.

The surface should be kept clean and polished, as any marks will be transferred to the metals surface.

Use in conjunction with a urethane pad () to help defuse vibration and noise.

This steel block has a work area measuring 150mm x 150mm and is 20mm thick.
