Description

This Durston Round Disk Cutter is a fast and effective way of creating your own 63mm round blanks, perfect for all levels of skill.

It can cut up to 1.2mm thick non-ferrous metals with the hardened, precision ground 63mm punch that ensures clean cuts every time.

The punch also has a slight angled edge to ensure a smooth, sharpe cut.

To use this oval disc cutter set:

• Ensure the angled cutting edge of the punch is facing downwards
• Simply slide your metal into the die
• Strike the top of the punch firmly with a brass hammer ()
• The tray will collect your round cutting

This set includes, 63mm Punch, Disc Cutter Body and Rubber Shock Absorbing Tray/Mat.

Use cutting lubricant like Burr Life () to lubricate the cutting edges of the punch to ensure a smooth process.

Thicker gauges of metal may require more than one strike, however do not exceed the maximum thickness stated above.

Due to the nature of the process, burring can occur – simply use emery paper to sand flush.
