This Busch Diamond Round Burr has been produced from a single piece of hardened steel with a tapered sherical shaped head, which has been coated in an industrial-grade diamond powder.

It is characterised by a stable design which provides a precise power cut and optimum concentricity, ideal for enlarging holes and removing rough edges.

Round burrs are also really useful for getting into harder to reach areas.

Measuring 1.0mm at its widest, with a shank width of 2.34mm, this Diamond Round Burr is ideal for providing uniform cutting on a variety of materials such as glass, ceramic and stone as well as metal.

Made from steel, the working part of the Burr (9mm) is coated in tiny diamond pieces for a high quality finish on more challenging, hard materials such as glass and stone.

Designed to be used in conjunction with a pendant drill, hobby drill, micromotor or even a pin vice such asorto cut or grind away a surface.

However, using this drill bit in a bench drill, rather than a pendant motor or flex shaft, will reduce the risk of of breakage when drilling glass or stone.

The drill bit should be used intermittently with light pressure rather than a single, high pressure action.

Using cooling liquid such as drilling oil or ‘Burr Life lubricant’ () will improve tool life and attract any dust.

Whilst using a cooling liquid we also recommend that you take note of drill speed suggested on packaging.

Also we advise dipping the burr into water at regular intervals to keep the surface of the material wet and cool.

Special care must be taken when using water with electrical tools.
