Compatible with MX1, MX2 and M1 portable units, the Nano 460 Quick Change Rotary Handpiece can only be used with nanomotors.

The 460 Handpiece is a versatile tool that operates up to 30,000rpm, delivering a torque of 15.5 cNm (newton centre meters) with the RS3000 nanomotor.

These slim and lightweight handpieces are essential for tasks like engraving, polishing, stone setting, and other detailed processes in jewellery making.

Easy to use:

• Twist the silver part of the handpiece to release the drill bit or burr you are using
• Unscrew the tool and replace it with your new tool (these would need to be 3/32″ or 2.35mm)
• Twist the silver part again to tighten and secure the new tool in place

When unscrewed, you will observe that this filer handpiece does not have a widened skirt, it is the same width along the shaft, allowing it to attach to a nanomotor.

In contrast, the strong micromotor handpieces do have this ‘skirt’ feature, clearly indicating which handpieces are compatible with each motor. These handpieces are not interchangeable.

The collar of each handpiece also has its name engraved to make it easier to identify which tool you are using.

It is supplied with a pin and spanner to tighten or loosen further.
