3m Wetordry Tri-m-ite Paper 2 Micron

Description

Made from micron sized graded aluminium oxide particles and slurry coated onto a non-woven synthetic backing, Wetordry Tri-M-ite paper is excellent for mirror polishing of softer materials silver, acrylic, resin, wood, aluminium, brass, copper and other materials.

The precision 9 micron grading provides a uniform, consistent finish. The paper is soft, cloth-like and paper thin, so wraps smoothly around your piece. It can also be used in conjunction with a holder such asorif you only want to polish the raised surfaces on your piece, for instance, if you have oxidised the piece.

Wet and dry paper is an abrasive paper which can be used wet (with water to give lubrication) or dry.

To hand finish your work to a mirror finish, start with the coarsest grit and work to the finest grit. The uniform fine lines indicate that you can move to the next grit. Grits are colour coded for easy identification.

Please note – grits should not be skipped in order to obtain a mirror finish.

Each sheet measures 230mm x 280mm.
