WG Ball Lead Free Wet Process Enamels offer great colour density and brilliance, producing stunning results every time. This Steel Groundcoat is for when you wish to enamel a steel surface, and will help you achieve the best results possible when using Wet Process Enamels. Simply apply a layer of Steel Groundcoat, fire at 800°C-820°C, and follow with applying your choice of colour enamel. The groundcoat and the enamel itself can be applied either by spraying, dipping or painting with a soft brush. To use, simply mix with water. For best results, apply up to three thin layers of colour on top of a layer of fired groundcoat.

This Steel Groundcoat is lead free, giving you peace of mind that you are working with a safe and non-toxic material. This is great for everyone, but especially for those enamelling in an education setting.

Suitable to use with a 150 mesh sieve.

The firing temperature is between 800°C and 820°C.

Supplied in a 50g plastic covering.
