Snowflake Obsidian Semi Precious Round Beads 10mm,16″ Strand

Description

Obsidian is a type of igneous rock, with a jet black colour tone that is formed when hot lava cools rapidly.

Snowflake Obsidian is a variation of white and grey spotted obsidian, with the unique patterns due to trace elements of the mineral Cristobalite.

These white crystal patterns often resemble snowflakes which gives the stone its unique name.

Snowflake Obsidian has generally been known as the stone of purity. Obsidian is excellent for protecting, healing and blocking negative energy, whilst snowflake obsidian soothes and balances the body, mind and spirit.

These beads measure approximately 10mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 1mm and are supplied as a 16″ strand.

Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours will vary and slight natural inclusions are sometimes faintly visible.

Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place snowflake obsidian stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Snowflake Obsidian can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth.

It is advised to avoid exposing snowflake obsidian to prolonged periods of heat and light.
