This 3.4mm wide Rhodium Plated Bronze Round Trace Chain is ideal for showcasing large pendants and charms or wear on its own. Each link measures approximately 3.4mm in length, the chain has a total length of 18”/45cm, finished with a secure lobster clasp.

A trace chain, also known as a cable chain, features small, uniform oval or round links connected in a simple, consistent pattern.

Due to the nature of the metal, this chain is supplied without a UK hallmark.

A rhodium-plated chain consists of a base metal coated with a thin layer of rhodium. The rhodium is applied through an electroplating process, giving the piece the appearance of solid rhodium while keeping it more affordable.

Please note:

• This chain is plated. Avoid using harsh cleaning products and do not solder, as this may damage or remove the plating.
• The jump ring connecting the clasp is supplied unsoldered. Following manufacturer guidelines, soldering is not recommended, as it could damage the mechanism.

This chain also receive a protective barrier coating before the rhodium, gold, or silver plating is applied. This intermediate layer creates a barrier between the base metal and the final plating, enhancing adhesion, improving durability and helping to extend the life of the finish.
