This 1.8mm wide Yellow Gold Plated Brass Barleycorn Chain is ideal for showcasing small pendants and charms or wear on its own. Each link measures approximately 4.6mm in length, the chain has a total length of 16”/40cm, finished with a secure bolt ring clasp.

Barleycorn Chain has smooth and flowing with teardrop or grain-like link shapes. Fairly flexible, but not as ‘rope-like’ as rope chains because of the alternating link pattern.

Due to the nature of the metal, this chain is supplied without a UK hallmark.

A gold plated chain is made from a core metal, such as brass or steel, that is coated with a thin layer of gold. The gold is applied through an electroplating process, giving the piece the look of solid gold while keeping it more affordable.

Please note: This chain features a flash-plated finish. To preserve its appearance, avoid using harsh cleaning products and do not solder the chain, as heat may damage or remove the plating. For routine cleaning, gently wipe with a lint-free or microfibre cloth.
