These 14ct Gold Filled Silicone Stopper Round Beads would make a great addition to your jewellery designs. The beads’ silicone core allows for smooth and easy adjustment, enabling you to quickly alter jewellery to your desired length which is extremely useful in necklace and bracelet designs. The beads are multipurpose, meaning they work perfectly in a variety of beading projects alternatively as a spacer, or as a contrasting feature to other beads in your finished piece. They would also be great to use individually to create simple but timeless designs. Just simply use the central hole to thread through a chain, ear wire, or cord to attach the bead to your designs.

Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded and is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal – usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight. Therefore it makes a great alternative to gold plating, which is thinner and less durable.

Unlike gold plated metal, gold filled can be soldered using 9ct or 14ct gold easy solder.

Each bead measures 4mm with a 1.52mm hole. The silicone holes measures 1.2mm.
