Gold Filled Extension Chain 50mm

Description

This 14ct Gold Filled Extension Chain is ideal for attaching to any Gold Filled chain to finish a necklace or bracelet design and allows the wearer to have versatility on length. The style is simple, to keep the focus firmly on your finished piece and the links are designed into a cable style link.

A bolt ring clasp can be clipped directly onto the chain link via the end jump ring. A trigger clasp will require an additional jump ring.

Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded and is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal – usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight. Therefore it makes a great alternative to gold plating, which is thinner and less durable.

The chain has a length of 50mm. The links measure 3.5mm x 2.6mm, and have a thickness of 0.45mm. The end jump ring measures 3.8mm, and has a thickness of 0.58mm.
