COLORIT is a nano-ceramic resin system created for the precise and permanent application of colour on solid surfaces. Renowned for its versatility, it is widely used in jewellery making from contemporary designs to personal keepsakes, as well as in the medical and dental fields for durable colour marking of instruments.

By combining advanced material technology with ease of use, COLORIT offers jewellers and technicians a reliable solution for achieving vibrant, long-lasting colour with professional results. It is also well-suited for memorial jewellery, as the hardening process involves no heat.

The material is a liquid ceramic compound made from light-active polymer acrylates, ceramic fillers, and organic pigments. Once applied, it is permanently hardened under blue UV light and can be polished to a lustrous finish.

Application Guidelines

• Apply into cavities of desired shapes (not suitable for flat open surfaces).
• Use thin layers of approx. 0.2 mm with an applicator or dosing system.
• Cure each layer under blue UV light; thicker layers can be built up gradually.
• Can be used straight from the bottle.

Recommended Four-Stage Process

• 1. Premium Bond Protective Layer (860 765)
• 2. Bond Activator Glue ()
• 3. Apply COLORIT resin
• 4. Apply Hi Clear Transparent (860 703 / 860 704) for a lustrous finish

Once cured, COLORIT can be mechanically ground and polished to achieve a high-quality finish. It is also compatible with ultrasonic cleaning, electrolytic degreasing, and electroplating. For a lustrous surface without polishing, COLORIT Hi Clear can be applied as a final layer.

COLORIT is a 100% biocompatible material, tested for both toxicity and medical safety. It is skin-friendly, non-allergenic, and suitable for sterilisation, making it compliant with medico-technical requirements.

This resin is supplied in pearl white colour and comes in a 18 g jar.
