Bench Peg

Description

A traditional bench peg or pin, ideal for everyday workshop use. The ideal platform for a range of jewellery making tasks – supporting you whilst sawing, drilling, filing and sanding.

The Peg is wedge shaped and has both a horizontal and slanted surface. The slanted surface is uppermost when the peg is set securely into the centre of the semi-circle of the bench. To prepare the peg an upsidedown ‘V’ should be cut from the centre third extending about a third of the way back – this produces a good support either side of the metal when piercing.

NB Not suitable for the ‘Bench Peg & Anvil’ () unless cut to size.
